We strive to produce the best schnauzer in health, temperament, brains and looks by breeding from top champion conformation and obedience bloodlines. Our pet and show puppies are available in black, black & silver and salt & pepper colors and come with a health guarantee. They are in the home born & raised plus handled extensively and socialized.I am a very concerned breeder when it comes to health and temperament, we do lots of health testing yearly and I would never breed a dog with health or temperament problems. I take in account the whole dog when breeding and try to match puppies with their new owners but leave the final decision to the new owner when choosing a puppy. I want my puppies to be happy and part of a family and that can only happen if the new owner is happy with their puppy. We are members of The American Miniature Schnauzer Club, The Standard Schnauzer Club Of America, The Ft Wayne Obedience Training Club and Former Leaders of The Wells County 4-H Dog Club. We often have puppies available along with young & retired adults. We also offer stud service to approved bitches. Standards are very smart and human like in their intelligence. They like to think for themselves but will do as you ask if they can see reason behind it. They can be a handful as a puppy but once they reach adulthood and if trained properly are the most wonderful companions and I believe they would protect you with their life if needed. This breed is large enough to hike, bike, run with their owners but love to sit next to you or at your feet in the evening.

Minis are also very smart but they are more eager to please their master. They are wonderful companions and very hardy little dogs that think they are a big dog. They can go for long walks or hiking without any problems, love to play fetch but also love to cuddle on the couch.

The main difference I see between the two breeds is the mini has more of a terrier personality and the standard has more of a working /guard dog personality. Both require grooming with the mini not shedding at all and slight shedding with the standard. Healthwise the mini has quite a few concerns with eye problems (which we test yearly for), bladder stones, cushings disease and diabetes being the major concerns. Standards have very few health problems with eye problems (which we test yearly for) and hip dysplasia (we OFA hips).
